We are looking for a visionary Data Architect to design the future of our data infrastructure, bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution, and guide our engineering teams.

The Role

As our Data Architect, you will not just be writing code—you will be drawing the map. You will own the high-level architecture of our entire data ecosystem, making strategic decisions on technology stack, data modeling, and data governance. You will work closely with the Head of Data Engineering, Product Managers, and C-level executives to ensure our data platform is scalable, secure, and aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Architectural Design: Design, build, and optimize scalable, highly available data platforms.

• Technology Strategy: Evaluate and select the right modern data stack tools to solve complex business problems.

• Data Modeling: Establish enterprise-wide data modeling standards to ensure data is optimized for both analytical queries and AI/ML workloads.

• Data Governance & Security: Implement robust frameworks for data quality, data lineage, master data management (MDM), and compliance (GDPR/CCPA).

• Technical Leadership: Act as a technical mentor for Senior Data Engineers, conducting architecture reviews and ensuring best practices are followed.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Translate complex business requirements into clear, executable technical architectures.

What We Are Looking For (Requirements)

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering, Database Administration, or Data Architecture.

• Deep expertise in at least one major cloud provider ([AWS / GCP / Azure]) and its data ecosystem.

• Advanced knowledge of modern analytical databases (e.g., [Snowflake / BigQuery / ClickHouse / Redshift]).

• Strong understanding of distributed data processing (e.g., Spark, Flink) and modern table formats (Iceberg, Delta Lake, Hudi).

• Exceptional data modeling skills and experience designing complex data schemas from scratch.

• Strong proficiency in SQL and programming languages such as Python, Scala.

• Outstanding communication skills: you can explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience with streaming architecture (Kafka, RabbitMQ).

• Knowledge of modern decentralized data architectures like Data Mesh.

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CI/CD pipelines).
