The Sportsbook Analytics Manager is responsible for leading the analytics function within the Sportsbook team, delivering actionable insights that drive performance, profitability, and risk management across the sports betting operation. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on data analysis, reporting infrastructure development, and team building.

Job responsibilities:

1. Data Analysis & Insights

• Analyse large, complex datasets across trading, customer behavior, pricing, and market performance.

• Identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities to optimize margin, liability, and trading strategies.

• Provide actionable insights to senior stakeholders, including Trading, Risk, and Product teams.

• Develop predictive and diagnostic models to support decision-making.

2. Reporting & Power BI Development

• Design, build, and maintain scalable reporting frameworks in Power BI.

• Create automated dashboards covering key KPIs such as margin, hold, turnover, customer segmentation, and market performance.

• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and accessibility across all reporting outputs.

• Translate business requirements into intuitive visualizations for both technical and non-technical users.

3. Leadership & Stakeholder Management

• Partner closely with Trading, Risk, Marketing, BI and Product teams to align on priorities and deliver insights.

• Define team structure, roles, and responsibilities aligned with business needs.

• Establish best practices in analytics, reporting, and data governance.

• Foster a data-driven culture within the trading organization.

Our expectations:

Experience

• 3+ years in data analytics.

• Experience and understanding of odds and sportsbetting.

• Strong mathematical background with demonstrated expertise in probability, statistics and modelling.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency with Power BI.

• SQL knowledge and experience working with large datasets.

• Experience with Python/R is a plus.

• Understanding of data warehousing and ETL processes.

Business & Analytical Skills

• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.

• Ability to translate data into clear business insights and recommendations.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
